gigmit FAQ: How to Connect Facebook To Your Artist Page

Your EPK contains all important information about you and it is imperative to keep it up-to-date to be successful when applying to gigs. Promoters want to find out all there is to know about you at a glance, including how popular you are and how big your reach is. There is an easy way to show them! Simply connect your Facebook profile with your Artist Page. Find out how that works and why you should do it here.

Connect Your Facebook Account

Your gigmit Artist Page is what promoters see when you apply for gigs. For your applications to be successful, it is necessary to provide all relevant information for promoters in it. One aspect that promoters are especially interested in is how many fans you have. This information can be easily included in your Artist Page by Facebook Connect. This is how to connect your Facebook profile with a few clicks:

  • Go to your gigmit Artist Page/EPK
  • Click “Edit” at the top
  • Scroll down to the section “Links” and click on “Connect” to connect your Facebook profile
  • You will then be forwarded to Facebook
  • Log in and choose the profile you want to connect
  • Done!

Your Facebook Profile is now successfully connected to your gigmit Artist Page. Now the number of fans you have and the growth rate will be displayed in your artist profile.

What Is the FAN BASE Module?

The new FAN BASE Module shows your Fan Growth of the last 28 days since the first connection with Facebook. Growing numbers show bookers that your project has potential. Your profile will be more attractive and you will increase your chances to get booked!

With the data from your FAN BASE module, you will be automatically included in the gigmit GROWTH CHARTS every month. They show which artists from a country are trending at the moment. Live acts that have connected their Facebook and Spotify account will also appear automatically in the gigmit FAN CHARTS. These show promoters who is currently popular in their city and should therefore be booked. Find out more about the gigmit FAN CHARTS here.
