gigmit: Hi Tribe Mafia, what’s that sound?
Tribe Mafia: The type of sound Tribe Mafia creates is southern rap, dancehall, pop, and reggaeton. If you like Swae Lee, Post Malone, Drake, Bad Bunny, and Juice WRLD then you came to the right place.
We started rapping at the age of 15. We received inspiration from our two most favorite emcee’s such as Drake and Lil Wayne. Whenever we’d listen to their use of metaphors and wordplay it make us want to bring out the notepad and start composing new music.
What is success?
Everyone’s definition of success should be different as we all have our own caliber of expectations. For us, success is success if we’re able to get closer to our goal. As long as you create a list of short-term and long-term goals, your way of measuring success can be deliberated accordingly.

What advice would you give an aspiring musician?
Be yourself and do what makes you feel like you. Don’t rush your objectives and trust your process. It is okay to keep tweaking a style that fits uniquely for you. Once you do find your distinctive form of art, know your worth and keep challenging yourself.
