4 INES#festivals took place in September

 

We all miss the unforgettable live events we get to experience year for year. And we don’t like the feeling of missing out this time around. Luckily most of the festival members of the INES network were being digitally hosted so that we could enjoy them from home. Discover the INES#festivals from September 2020 and make sure to re-watch if you missed them!

Live at Heart

Live at Heart festival took place from 2. to 5. September 2020. Both the showcase and the conference took place completely online and are still available to re-watch for free! What’s Next in Music?

What’s Next in Music? festival was held from the 10. to 12. September 2020. The festival programme can be found here and the conference programme here. Also, gigmit CEO Marcus Fitzgerald held a presentation on the topic The Future of Booking: Sold Out Shows Using Data”.  

Waves Vienna

Waves Festival took place from 10. to 12. September 2020. It was a hybrid festival consisting of an online showcase, a public viewing @ WUK Hof and a conference in the SAE institute in Vienna. Due to Covid-19 the entire conference took place online. Participation at the conference was free while the streaming had a pay as you wish option. The line-up can be found here featuring many INES#talents such as June Cocó, Jakob Kobal, Lazy Day and The Bland. Additionally the conference programme can be found here, lead by the following topic: “The conference program addresses the challenges for the music industry triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic in a variety of ways.” Also note that gigmit CEO Marcus Fitzgerald held a presentation on the topic The Future of Booking: Sold Out Shows Using Data”

Kontakt

This year’s edition of Kontakt festival will be held from 21. to 22. September 2020 in a digital edition and therefore online. The festival runs under the title “Endangered Industry”. Find more information here.
