gigmit: Hi Seja and Flëpp! How did you get into music?
The Tame and the Wild: We basically got into music by the legacy of our parents. We share the same urge to pursue this legacy every single day by writing songs and sharing what’s in our minds and hearts through music.
Can you describe your creative process?
Be music, every single minute, every single day.
What are your passions outside of music?
We’re bound to nature, living in the countryside, where we find our inspirations through our lifestyle and our passions. But we are also ocean people who love to surf as often as possible.
Which album influenced you the most?
Nearly every album we listen to more than once leaves a footprint in one way or another and echoes in our creative work.
How do you define success?
Success is putting your whole self into your music, free from any judgment, free from anyone controlling your creative flow.
What do you miss about in-person performances?
That little smile, that one hidden tear, that brief moment of intimacy you share with complete strangers, knowing we’re stuck in this together.
How do you think the music industry will change after the pandemic?
The idea of worldwide connecting is growing every day. And it’s crazy that people from everywhere in the world are getting to love a small band from a country they didn’t even know exists.
Thanks for your time, The Tame And the Wild! Lastly, do you have any advice for aspiring musicians?
Always be yourself… and true to yourself!
