San Hejmo Festival took place at Weeze Airport on August 16th and 17th, 2024. With over 50 artists, such as Deichkind, Macklemore and Badmómzjay and 30 street artists, San Hejmo is not only an incomparable and unique music experience, but is also THE meeting place for all pop, hip hop and electro fans.
This year, Warsteiner and San Hejmo were looking for new icons of the German pop and hip-hop scene. Five talented artists have been selected by a first-class jury of experts to perform on the Warsteiner New Talent Stage at the San Hejmo Festival on August 16th, 2024.
The five Warsteiner Talents of San Hejmo have enjoyed an unforgettable gig and 20 one-day tickets for family, friends and fans, as well as a 500 euro compensation for their performance! And that’s not all: on August 16th, 2024, the winner of the contest has been named live on stage by the jury and will receive an exclusive session at the Bamboo Artists studios.
About the Application Process
The application process required applicants to produce a video featuring at least three of their original songs or remixes to demonstrate their talent. They had the freedom to combine multiple music videos or live performances in any way they liked, allowing for creative expression. The only requirement was that the final video should be between five and twenty minutes long. Additionally, including a brief self-introduction would earn extra points from the jury!
The application period ran from May 16th to June 14th, 2024.
A five-star jury
The five finalists were selected by San Hejmo festival CEO & co-founder Bernd Dicks, Co-founder and Managing Director of San Hejmo GmbH, Nadja Gärtner from the Warsteiner Brewery and Leander Kirschner, CEO & founder of Bamboo Artists. The popular artist manager and label owner has artists such as Ski Aggu, 01099, Zartmann, Ritter Lean and many more on his roster.
“I am delighted to be part of the jury and am convinced that there are many artists who bring a lot of talent and produce good sounds. I’m excited to see who makes it to the stage in the end,” says Leander Kirschner.

After an extensive review process that involved hundreds of applicants and an impressive array of videos, the of five exceptionally talented acts as this year’s Warsteiner Talents of San Hejmo are FINJA, Junior Carl, Makke, Kaipi, and Tosha. These artists truly stood out, showcasing not only their musical prowess but also their unique creative visions and passion for their craft. Each act brought something special to the table, making the selection process both challenging and exciting!

And the Winner is… Tosha!
